Papers in Palaeontology

Papers in Palaeontology publishes research documenting the diversity of past life and its distribution in time and space. The main focus of the journal is on empirical science, including the description of new taxa, systematic revisions of higher taxa, details of biostratigraphical and biogeographical distributions, and accounts of regional floras and faunas. Submissions must present the key questions and conclusions of the work in a wider context, and demonstrate implications that extend beyond a single locality or group of organisms.

The journal has been published since 2015, before which the Association published Special Papers in Palaeontology which provided monograph style treatments with a similar remit. All issues are available through Wiley: members can access all papers for free using the link in the member dashboard. If you are a non member with institutional access, you can visit Papers in Palaeontology at Wiley directly.
