The first Mesozoic pseudoscorpion (Arachnida, Pseudoscorpionida) from Cretaceous (Campanian) amber collected in southern Alberta, Canada, is described. The specimen is a deutonymph and belongs to the family Chernetidae, but further taxonomic assignment is impossible. Some observations and deductions on its palaeobiology are made.
