Exceptional soft-part preservation of the internal anatomy of beetles (Nitidulidae and Cantharidae) is described from Tertiary amber, for the first time from the Dominican Republic. A variety of tissues is preserved, including elements of the nervous, digestive, respiratory, locomotory and sensory systems.
