
Epidermal studies in the interpretation of Lepidodendron species

Thirteen species of Lepidodendron are described including two new species L. arberi and L. barnsleyense. Details of the epidermis are given and its use in species distinction and classification is considered. Cuticle information about secondary growth is also discussed.
